The salon is closed today. If all goes to plan we will re-open tomorrow at noon. Wishing everyone a warm and toasty day.
Dear Aim & Ailie family,
After consulting with staff, clients and having a particularly sobering conversation with infectious disease specialist we have decided to close the salon from Tuesday, March 17—Tuesday, March 31. We hope to reopen on Wednesday, April 1 (no fooling) but this decision will be guided by the evolving COVID-19 situation within our community. Clients with appointments during this planned closure have already been contacted by our amazing, wonderful, hardworking lead-receptionist Trinity. Clients, check your voicemail and email please!
The coming weeks are going to test us- as individuals, as small businesses, and as a community. Nothing is more important to us than ensuring the safety of our team members and clients. The simple fact is, no amount of vigilant sanitation can guarantee the safety of our clients and staff. Social distancing is not an available technique for stylists and barbers. We are frankly surprised that local and state officials have not called for the closure of salons, barber shops and spas. We encourage everyone to take time to care for yourselves, your families, your neighbors, and your loved ones. We promise to keep you all updated on our plans as this situation evolves.
Finally, thank you, thank you, thank you to our clients and team members who have postponed appointments or stayed home from work when sick in a diligent effort to protect our community. We follow your excellent examples to do our part to arrest community spread. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions (email is best: email@example.com).
With love and gratitude,
Ailie, Aim and the entire A&A team
